Coming along nicely.
I couldnt help noticing the Keyster carb kits though. Please dont use the jets in this kit as they are rubbish.
Keep up the good work.

Yeh o.k cheers for the info, i have a second clutch now, didnt have one previously so i will be looking into getting that done. Also the jets, which jets would be recommended for use?, bit late now but can always change em. Ive been looking into getting some stainless exhausts for it as my 4LO ones arent great, which jets would be better for an upgraded exhaust system? higgspeed.com/YAMAHA-RD-350LCAny advice would be lovely, Cheers.

Use genuine Mikuni jets available from a Yamaha Dealer or specialist carb people. (Allens Performance).
The Keyster Jets do not flow the same quantity as the original mikuni jets making it very difficult to set the carbs up correctly.

Thanks for all the comments, advice is much appreciated. Will look into getting the master cylinder powder coated and this silicon fluid sounds like the business. Will have another nose through the RD80 thread, have picked up so many tips from that thread already!!
Yeh got the bike from Verwood as you say, i liked it on first impressions but as you can see from the thread there were some hidden gremlins aswell... Still, im very happy with her now and soon will be back to former glory with White and Blue striping....
Which brings me to my next point, has any1 used KAS racepaint before? If so, are they as good as recommended?
