Fully stripped down, well mostly except enigine and bearings etc. Frame is partly yellow?? Afew scary bits like twin core household wiring in the loom and alot of extra single wires dotted around. Half way.. Yellow paint... Enigne o.k, casings need paint, also new oil seal for water pump. Most the bits.. That yellow frame??!...

Yeh i admit it looks nice in those 1st photos, but close up its abit ropey so yeh ill be going the whole way to complete standard, thats the plan anyway..
Definately frame has been coated yellow then overcoated black where its seen from afar, total bodge up. Ill be puting plenty of photos up, these are only afew of nearly 100 i have already.

Getting frame ready for powder coat, been quoted £75 for frame and swing arm. Got the ova bits ready aswell (yokes, brake hub etc..) Started polishing up the wheels aswell, paint looks good as though it has been recently done so just grading with emery/wet n dry and some solvol. Comes up nice. Also had a go at the peg hangers but not too sure, got a high polish but would prefer the 'out of factory' look so going to leave that to the pros. My next problem is the right hanger, as you can vaguely see from the picture is damaged so if anyones got a spare they wana sell leave a post would be greatfull... Plan is to get powder coating done then re-assemble frame and swinger with wheels and forks, following a large order from the LC crazy shop 1st; Next pics shud be of fresh powder coating...

looks like its coming alone nicely . You will fel a lot better about the build when you get it rolling then it starts to look like a bike again. It then feels like your building something not just doing all the bits up . Cant wate to see the after coating pics,.

The powder coated bits were the best xmas present early, how sad eh!

Just started re-assembling what i can today made some good progress got afew photos to follow in the next few days, and prob afew questions for you to chip in on, ta.....

I got the shock off of Norbo, its longer than the original one but looks fairly standard. Im gona keep the old one and look at refurb so ive got the original option aswell. Duno of anyone thats got the longer shock if it makes much difference??

Forks arrived!!............. Really pleased with the forks they look brand new!! Philpots did awesome job only took 10 days and for less than 200 quid what a quality job. 1 step closer to the rolling chassis again..... Thanks to Norbo for getting those gen yam dust covers delivered to me so quickly.

Various places really, all the really nice looking machined stainless steel has come from Phil Denton Engineering, well known stainless supplier in the classic bike world, Some of the smaller nuts bolts and screws have come from stagonset which is another stainless supplier online and other bits from yamaha dealer.
