Great job on the tank decal - looks spot on Years ago I tried to apply new tank stickers to an LC, they ended up looking like "Nora Batty's tights" Never again. Sounds like you've got the carbs very close: good work.
Cheers, Mark

Great "save" on the decal Mark - looks really good. Are you gonna spray the front muddie ? I reckon you've got the "skills" to have a go Dusty

Thanks Mark and Dusty, yes well pleased with it :-) I've bought the decal for the mudguard and I have a good mate who is now retired but is an airbrush artist, he's turned down loads of work but when I asked him to spray my mudguard he said he would, I asked him when I bought the bike and have been busy making it perform more than look pretty, now the summer is ending I will ask him when it's good for him to do it and hope he hasn't changed his mind.. the carbs feel good, only disappointment is the front wheel isn't getting airborne but I think that's due to me being used to 180 bhp and being too steady opening the throttle at low revs , I'll have to try and re programme a little.. I've been pleasantly surprised at how well it goes round corners, got some nice soft rubber on her now and got her over to the edge of the tyre no problem.. Cheers Mark

Thanks Jonw much appreciated, good bit of detective work there, I didn't fill the how to improve my village form in as I .didnt think they would appreciate my comments about locking up the neighbourhood speed .ankers with there clip boards and smiley face speed camera and high viz jackets as they are a total embarrassment to human life!

haha, well yes. no worries mate, would not want you to have 'night visitors', tho i did spot that you were not that far from one of my routes when Im in the UK next summer as I will be heading to Chester after enjoying a a run on the 'fiddle after a curry at my old stomping ground in Matlock Bath... to be honest I can't wait for that night, hope the weather is just crap enough to keep the 'copters away even tho I'll be in a rental car

Is the radiator from Mad Biker ? No it's a Chinese eBay one, quality looks really good, norbo is sorting me a guard that just covers the fins just like the ones he sells, and will get the s/s side plates too :-) along with the new expansion pipes off mutts and not forgetting Dusty's bar grips that will complete the looks and also the performance :-) oh and there's also the waves discs with blue anodized centers that I must have too lol.

Fitted my new rad guard bought from norbo today, really really pleased with how it looks :-) I need to do a bit of adjusting on the side plates to make them look right.. fitted new clutch cable and fixed the miss aligned power valves which turned out to be a fidgety job with me lying on my back on the cold concrete outside..really chuffed with getting them set perfectly however the job didn't go as well as it should have as I managed to snap a valve cable and crack the ypvs pulley. Gutted about that but fortunately norbo sells the spares, so it could have been a lot worse..

Yea, looking good Mark. The side plates fit standard rads better - the Chinese rads have a deeper profile so the side plates don't sit against the edge of the radiator like they are designed to. Still look good though Looking forward to seeing your new pipes. Dusty

Pipes arrived safe and sound today from Jim along with Silencers from Dave both packed super well and look amazing.. I was going to polish the pipes but now having seen them with the welding Blume I'm not sure as the look cool in the raw state, so going to fit raw first and think about it.... also fitted the black and blue grips over weekend curtesy of Dusty (thanks Mate) they really do look the biz, unfortunately I couldn't use the bar ends from Mark as they wouldn't fit, ended up using some from Max,s scooter, sounds pants I know but I think he spends more on scooters than I do on all my hobbies put together. . Pic to follow cheers Dono
