www.ebay.co.uk/usr/fluffosborne?ul_noapp=trueThere is a seller on fleabay who does the decals and he said he could make a new design face , so he could make an "LC" looking black face to fit the YPVS tacho with the zero starting in the 9 0 clock position :-) Make anything you like

These look good but but don't know the sizes and if could be adapted to fit in LC clock cases
The fact that to make it work involves tying a cable around the HT lead helps us electrical numpties LOL
Don't really fancy one that has 15RPM on it when 12 is on a standard clock

They just got back and the O.D. is 87mm on the outside of the bezel

Not done much
Wheel in swinger with sprocket and carrier
Spindle may have to be shortened a bit n the end , I had to have a longer one made as the RGV swinger was wider than the KR1S arm

Not a lot done I'm afraid but paid Kenny TSA for the adaptors I need to fit my Lomas pipes to Athena barrels and also paid Martin Mad Biker for the Athena 392 top end kit EEEKK !
Welding is frustrating as the fella only does sundays and holidays, girlfriends and dogs etc are getting in the way at the moment !
He is a mobile welder and comes to the house so that part is good, just have to persevere a bit
Got to get an inline thermostat too like the Kartelli one which has a thread to fit a temperature sender too
Trying to find a UK dealer ...

Inline thermostat arrived , it is made by Righetti Ridolfi but had it from UK at a karting place called Zip North which was a good price
It says 55c stat but in the description it says starts opening at 45c and fully open at 55c
www.righettiridolfi.com/en/product/search?search=thermo+stat&variants=1
It has the threaded hole for the temp. sender but think it will sit in the flow a bit too much so maybe a little spacer with a seal each end ?

Was looking at the inline stat and with the temperature sender bolted on the side, that looked like it would seriously impact on the coolant flow The above pic is what Jon did in his build thread, so used an adaptor to pull the sender back Anyone else done anything similar ?

Fecked about half the day getting the tight swingarm trimmed and fitted, as in taking swingarm in and out about 40 times , trimming and refitting LOL Then had to drag myself round to mother in laws to dig out and attack with an axe , a conifer tree stump ...
Just bought this rear master cylinder off fleabay from a 2017 R6 , but what is interesting about it is the top hose connection which looks like it can swivel in different positions ?
Maybe the swivel bit could be put on the YPVS master cylinder to bring the banjo hole from the back and fixing the problem with clearance there ?
I will need a new bracket to fix it to though as I guess the hole centres will be different to the YPVS one

This is the front master cylinder to go on
I have these Fatbars on my red LC and are from an 80cc MX bike so narrow, so getting the m. cylinder and switch gear on is tight !
To me most Renthal bars are too wide and never ever fit a cross brace as that is against the law LOL
Was going to run 2 lines from m. cylinder to calipers, but having a splitter from a forum member now

Splitties (not the VW) look better I think. Never seen an RD LC decal like that one before.

Had a go at chain alignment today !
This is with a 10mm front offset and 5mm off the KR1S rear sprocket carrier !
With the 10mm sprocket, the chain runs very close to the frame , I even put the split link on the other side as the link sticks out a tad more
Don't know how close is "close" but not great, about 2mm clearance
I have decided to revert back to the German frame too as at the end of the day it has had no repairs and is the best frame
Will have to get it registered and sort out the steering lock on the frame as I want it to be working

2mm is too close! It'll move about a bit and rip into the frame...

In my original notes from ages a go it was decided there was 9mm offset total , so with 5mm already off the rear carrier then an offset front sprocket of 4mm is only needed Going to have to get a second opinion on this....

The R6 rear master cylinder I got off fleabay came with this little adaptor Looks like I can use it on the YPVS unit and I won't need to change bracket and can mount the brake light switch without it fouling the swingarm (hopefully !)

Andy 748 sold me an RGV brake splitter as I'm not a fan of 2 lines from the master cylinder Will get black braided hoses on final build
Looks like I can use standard length RGV hoses from the splitter to the calipers but as I'm using a radial master cylinder, I will need a different angle on the banjo ?

Found a temp sender in the box but you can see the problem with fitting it into my new inline stat
First pic shows the sender "bottomed out" in the unit
Also the second pic shows just how much it blocks the pipe flow !
May have found the solution with this

Got the barrels sprayed today as the surface seems quite porous and will soak grime up like a sponge ? Will sort head out later as I ran out of paint !

Don't know if anyone has drilled and tapped the Athena head for the temperature sender ? (pink square )
Not too sure how much meat is in that area to drill and tap, may be too thin !
Got a rough measurement of 5.5mm max thickness, so is that enough ?

This is the standard porting on the Athena barrels
The triple port is the one that stands out to me and the inlet windows a bit larger

Here are the pistons It says made in Japan inside of them and 67.95 size The rings don't have any stamps on them though They have the expander ring but I normally leave it out on build, so undecided what to do here as are of unknown make ?
