Put this pic on top of page 4 for a sneaky peak at what the pile of bits are morphing into !
Tried the paint out today !
Don't half make you nervous handling new paint LOL

Probably a slightly different route on the steering locks, I had a section of metal tube welded to the underside of the headstock So the bump stops are at the back and the lock stops were drilled and tapped so it can be adjusted on an M6 bolt Need to grind it down a bit and refine it too

From the front and in fairness you will hardly see it when it's all painted/powder coated

Lots of ways. Dishwasher first, Back to Black if it's not scratched too much, if it is very fine wet and dry then maybe shoe polish and a buff...loads of other ways too!

looking through my bag of new bits I have a YPVS gear change which apart from it being black and not chrome, thought it was the same as an LC one
WRONG !
The shaft that slides onto the pin on the footrest is not as wide DOH !
So either space it out or ask Nick Chambers who makes stainless shafts for the footrest to make a shorter version or sell or swop with someone for an LC one
It was new in the bag till today :-)
This pic shows the reduced width compared to the LC
What's a 1UA part worth , are they still available , am I sitting on a goldmine LOL

Nissin radial master cylinder 19mm bore
Does anyone know what angle I need the Banjo for as it is quite different to a non radial brake ?

I'd say get it as straight as you can to avoid any kinks.

Think I'm going to assemble the bike and put all the wiring ,switchgear and cables etc then see where I can route the brake hose for the cleanest look

As you all know I love my KR1S wheels LOL but as the rear wheel is an 18 inch wheel and takes a freaky 140 60 18 tyre (150 can be fitted) All the big tyre companies apart from Bridgestone had stopped making that size Bridgestone were doing BT90 and BT92's but now only offer a BT90 and in a 150 60 18 All the others are old stock, so I think I will have to hang onto the 17 inch RS 250 Aprilia rear wheels in case the worst happens !

rdlccrazy.proboards.com/thread/44679/ypvs-tacho?page=1&scrollTo=409509Check out the above thread I'm looking at putting an electronic YPVS tacho in the LC clock cases as my engine cases have no machining for the earlier type mechanical gears What would be nice as mentioned would be the YPVS tacho with a different clock face decal (and needle) and a cut out for a tiny temperature gauge :-) Any opinions welcomed !

Is this what you mean ?
The 1-12 look in the same position , as in zero at 9 0clock
Wonder if there are replica decal faces for these ?

Liking how these end cans are tucked in Trouble is I'm keeping the standard hangers as it's the law (plus if you chop the passenger peg holes off is a no no too ) so will have to see how the Lomas GP pipes look once bolted on
Prefer the staggered look compared to the parallel look as standard

I know someone with a set of those clocks if that helps at all! He might be persuaded to part with them.
