i thought an oblong horizontal one would look better?, as in not sticking out over the top, you did say honest opinions!

i don't think it will suit the bike,like jamie says a oblong 1 would be the norm :-/perhaps we need some piccy's took from abit more distance

i think an oblong 1 with either that orange colour ypvs stitched into it or just a black ypvs outline stitched into it :-/or is taht to tacky

2nd piccy's ur's m8 dunno bout the other 2. seat wotsitmajig looks ok m8,must av been the close up piccy's that done it before i like the watsimajig too mate did do the traditional one also , but i wanted to be different like usual when i get home one day and its light i'll take some pics at distance so you can get a better view

hi mate,nice job.i hate to say it though but your chain is going to rip through the guide then the swinger it's self.i did the same conversion in about 93 and had the same problem so i removed the frame mount's for the swing arm and made new ones with the holes about 20 mm lower this cured the problem of the steep angle fouling chain run.it arises because of the wheel size combined with the longer length of the rgv swing arm. i'll look into that don't suppose you'd have photo's ? cheers Dave

i have some pics somewhere but will have to scan them and put on the pc.. .also have a short video so will get my mate to put it on dvd then i can give you that .i used the same rear end with a cbr 600 six spoke wheels and an apilia rs 250 seat unit and sub frame (i cut the lc frame ) rgv non usd forks and a 916 nose cone with an lc belly pan.give me a couple of days and i will get back to you. your a star mate cheers
