Jesus mate....are you from Essex ? ;D ;D sexy ay mate well i went to the powder coaters and asked for it to be done red ? he said i could have it black or white i said no red he said no ! black or white i said no red he said try white if you don't like it i'll re-do it for you red i expected to pick it up and it to be red but as you can see he was true to his word but havin seen it now i like it so white it is

Yep....I spose the white boost bottle is very different....think about the weight gains though mate...........polished alloy is lighter ;D

taking these to have them chemically blackened Ohhhhh would be interested in seeing the end result of these mate i found this bloke who does it and he says he'll do them for me this week the process does'nt put any thickness on the steel not like anodising / powder coating (but you may already know this ) i've never seen it done and i was well impressed ;D

£40 m8,that sounds alright.av u had em done on the cheap tho no mate ! sadly he did me no favours i posted them & he posted back next day delivery plus i was charged for the f/peg hangers and the rear brake lever £63 all in

I have a lot of this done through work for cosmetic reasons. You're spot on too - it doesn't put any thickness on the steel, it carburises (infuses / adds carbon) to the outer case to a depth of a few microns only. Get them to leave your stuff in overnight - the longer you leave it the blacker (and deeper) it is.

[/quote] thanks for the advice mate i'll ask him to do that its a bit like gun barrels i think you have to oil them to prevent corrosion (just guessin) but i don't think this bike will see much weather ;D
