wow , them hangers look well shiny real hard work but rewarding ,yes, i think i might try and do mine again,ace job my kit has .brown soap bar.then green,then blue, you say you use a white soap.please advise.thanks

if i remember correctly m8 brown is coarse soap,white is medium and the blue is purely for a final polish.no cutting compound in it you must have a different kit,i expect ur green is equivalent to my white.u must remove all traces of cutting soap before doing final polish

no m8.always polish different ways.in each stage.so thats all ways with one compound then all ways with another

Hi Mellow,
Great work you did there, this is an example and inspiration for me to rebuild my 350F1. Just a question, what do you do with the alloy parts after polishing? Have you clear coated the rims over the polished sections?

Hi mate.cheers I don't coat the alloy in anything.just polish it and thats all. Think since 2006 when it was done i have wiped it over with MAAS creme twice at the most With that said......the secret is dont take it out in the rain and keep it dry and warm ;D

Thanks, I'll just do that, it is all warm and dry here in Greece. How is the swingarm holding up since then, I was thinking to powder coat it but if the paint holds up I would prefer it as there are some dents I could fill before paint.
