You will be able to tell if oil is geting in to the crank mate as the bike will smoke real bad not a nice 2 stroke smoke but real dark smoke and most likely will have a oil smell not like 2 stroke oil .
But i use patton seals in my bikes and they are ok . Good jap patton ones not cheep E-bay crap but still patton so i would not worry unless you know for sure it using oil .

I'll top it up and see what happens! It's not overly smokey though! It's a little bit smokey, but that's coz the oil pump is set a bit high!

She's coming along nicely, but the belly pan doesn't look like it's going to fit easily and I need some nuts and bolts to mount the front mudgaurd! Also need to decide where to put my RDLC Crazy stickers I'm only going to have tuning forks on the tank

Anyone know of any nice bolts that I can use to mount the mudgaurd to the for brace thing?

Mr.Fastener do a nice range of domed-head allen bolts , they do em in allsorts of colours etc..........even make em' from Titanium. Best bet would be to have a good look on ebay , last lot I got off there was a 2,500 piece box full of assorted stainless allen-head bolts with nyloc nuts and stainless washers for £24 posted , dont buy from M&P and the like...........they'll rip you off

I've ordered some plain stainless domed allen bolts, I'll use them to hold the belly pan on too!

I love the colour and the engine looks bloody ace and a polished caliper, i bet it looks the bomb in the flesh. You have put a lot of time in to it and it shows. Not keen on the seat hump though.

Thanks for the comments guys! The tail piece isn't mounted, it's just places on so they don't meet properly! The seat hump is part of the single seat conversion that I did on the foot rest hangers on the first and second pics! This was the easiest way to get round the fact that one of the foot rest hangers was cracked where the pillion pegs mount! The bike needs its new exhaust to make it look really good! I'm putting the allen bolts in the mud gaurd as we speak, so I may nip over and fit that if it stops raining! It'll be for sale next year, to make way for the next one!

The colour is cosmic blue, it's a Ford colour! I saw it at a classic car show on an AC Cobra!
I knew I had to keep it totally standard or go completely different!
You can tell which one I chose! ;D
