Trying to work out the position of the sub frame and seat looks to be not too difficult and suits the cradle fine 😀

Today had the angle grinder and reciprocating saw out, taken off the subframe and top lugs from the swinger these I will relocate further back when I know how much length I have to play with regards the shock...Ive also measured how much I need to reduce the width of the swingarm its around 60mm its going to be a snug fit for sure 😉 Frame looks like spaghetti in comparison to that swing arm.

Topman350,
Have you measured the wheelbase? It looks like it's going to be very long. With such a wide rear tyre (how wide is it?) it may feel very slow turning into corners.
Also had yon considered spreading the frame? It might be a better idea than narrowing the swingarm in order to have chain clearance between tyre and frame.

Jon Hi Jon no mate not measured the wheel base im not too bothered about it...it should handle and turn ok with the right profile tyres, with the frame I didnt want the headache of more fabrication unless I have too I take on board not reducing the swinger but would rather do that than widen the frame...will see how things pan out....the rear tyre will be 160/60-17 I should only need the front sprocket to be offset by 9/10mm well hope so anyway lol 😉👍

Are you going to have to cut a step out of each side of the front of the swing arm, as just the round section machined back would still not be enough to get it into the frame?

I will need to take about 60mm straight out the middle 70mm in total you can notice a black line in the center of the masking tape so 25mm to the left and 35mm to the right and shave 10mm off the right side....I have to be carefull in the accuracy due to the width I need for the rear wheel and spacers etc some of the rear wheel hub will also need tweeking wish me luck lol 👍

All the plastics for the rear now arrived waiting on the rear light....I've decided to use the plastic YZFR 125 tank its more suited to rhe rear. 😀👍

Hi mate Sorry to hear you've both been through the wars Good to hear you are both on the up It's amazing how many "younger" people have heart attacks. When I was co responding to medical calls, it was frightening how many younger people had them. Sobering stuff. God luck to both of you for your recovery. Best wishes Dusty

Hope you and the better half have a smooth recovery, how much bad luck us that for both if you to fall ill. As an alternative to photo f**kit a lot have started to use flikr, mark Hoopy has made an excellent guide on how to use it, as its not quite as intuitive as photo fukit was rdlccrazy.proboards.com/thread/40559/setting-using-flikr-pics-posts
