Thanks Mark, The next one will be very different and probably a bit more challenging. May appeal to a more limited audience but I'm starting to get a bit more enthusiastic about it now Dusty

Hahaha you iriot. I knew it had to go as building the bikes is your thing these days. And she's gone to a good home. Can't wait to see the TZR come together and if I can assist in any way I will.

Delivered her down to Kent today. I think Ian, the new owner, is over the moon She shares a garage with my old 400, and my old Gamma is lurking at the back; 20180527_150325 by David Miller, on Flickr I'm gonna miss her Dusty

Haha, no, I only have the orange hybrid and the Rd/tz project bike now. Although I have just bought another project that will go down the shed !! Ian - the Lc's new owner, has a dream garage going on there. The 400 Honda is stunning with it's Tyga bodywork, my old Gamma is now virtually built out of NOS parts, and my old 400 has had a small fortune spent - when I saw her I wanted her back - badly !! I'm pleased he bought the Lc as I know he will look after her as much as I did ! Dusty

I cant believe after all your hard work you sell her on.. I guess the enjoyment is in the making for some and after months of following your build and taking advise and inspiration from you and your build it' is really Great to see the finished article, I just wish i could have seen her in the flesh... DON'T SELL the Orange bike!!!

Thanks Mark The new owner has been after it for 18 months - he messaged me regularly to ask when I was selling it ! Once I had finished it I decided I wanted another project, and I would only have the funds if I sold one of my bikes, so as she was finished she was sold to her eager new owner who is over the moon with her . Not quite sure which way I am going with the next project - I seem to have suddenly filled my shed with a ton of parts which I need to sort through, which may take some time !! Nice to see you back on here mate. Regards Dusty

Hi It was actually a decent looking bike when I got it with a lot of the expensive parts already fitted; 20161020_120553 by David Miller, on Flickr I was told the engine had been totally rebuilt - certainly looked good on the outside but horrors lurked within !! I did end up spending a lot of money getting it to how it is now, but it was all worth it Dusty

Dusty.. do you remember what your rear master cylinder was off and the hole spacing? I just bought what i thought was the correct one Yam R1 but forgot to find out the hole spacing and it's to dam big!! :-( I do have a Brembo rear with 40mm spacing that has a built in res but its a bit big and bulky.

Cheers Topman Morgy, the rear master was a standard Ypvs item. Brembo do one that is exactly the same - just has "Brembo" cast into the front of it. Got that on my orange bike. I can measure the bolt hole spacing if you need it. Dusty

40mm sounds narrow. Are you using a bracket for the master cylinder from Norbo ? Had a quick measure of mine - approx. 66mm centres give or take - I was using a steel rule ! 20180621_112249 by David Miller, on Flickr A ypvs master cylinder is exactly the same spacing. Dusty

Ah, ok. Cant help you with that then - I thought you meant the standard type of master cylinder. I quite like the one you have on the rearsets - Mouse has got the same on his and it looks good imo. Dusty

Het Morgy,
if you do use that Brembo M/C res, it kinda needs to sit vertically so you can see the fluid level. They are a bit bulky, but i am really happy with mine and there is no need for a reservoir as it is inbuilt

OMG !!!!! That is amazing. When you say you will keep building as long as you can move them, please keep posting and detailing your builds. The read is just as fantastic as your creations. One day you should dig out all your build threads and turn them into books.
