Why is nothing simple? Got Tz 350 pipes, the brackets in the wrong place so I fab some bolt on ones that don’t work so I have not got to fab some to be welded on then I order 4 rubber exhaust gaskets that cost me £28 and they don’t fit and the Tz exhaust springs are far too long so had to cut them done to size to fit I am at the point of smashing the feckin pipes to pieces 🤬 As I work such long hours and I’m generally away all week in hotels I can’t just pop in to the garage The hydraulic brake switches are now on back order I have lost my 1mm steel plate I bought for my clock bracket and I have just realised I haven’t ordered the temp gauge. No wonder so many projects are sold at 95% finished. Buggery bollocks Yeah , I've been there but you will get there. Often the last few fiddly jobs can take time but the end result will be way more satisfying than buying a brand new whatever from a big dealer.

Great fabrication on all the brackets Veg. Clocks look very smart. This conversion will become more popular as the originals are getting rare and silly money. Someone should post up (in the how to do section) a step by step guide.
Looking forward to more progress mate

Thanks mark All i did was work out the depth i needed, the spacing of the bolts from the clocks and the spacing needed for the original bracket bolts it was a tad off but you can't see it. It actually wasn't as daunting as i thought. My fabrication skills aren't great and all i have is a pillar drill, bunch of files a jig saw and hack saw.

Std bowl in carbon from norbo and I then bought a new headlight unit from norbo. Oh ok.. i bought one off Norbo as well.. thought it was bigger than standard one for some reason as it was much bigger than the crap aftermarket unit that came with the bike.. Do you know the size off hand? If his standard ones fit this carbon bowl i will order one..

Thanks alex I am not a particularly discerning builder but if I make something and it highlights another problem I will change it. It has taken so long because I have wanted it to be right and I don't have a huge pot of cash that I can just throw at it.

Hey mate no worries. I totally get the no cash scenario lol. What you've done (and on a limited budget) beggars belief. And that anti dive...in 3 years time it'll still work, unlike some of the manufacturers out there who's units stopped working after a few months lol.

Spent the day fitting my new brake lines and brake switch I can only fit one to the front and not the rear not sure of the legality of it but hey ho. Spent feckin hours trying to bleed the brakes still not done for some reason they will not bleed properly. Then lock wired the front end and front and rear calipers I now Know that I have bought the wrong chain for my rear sprocket however Dave will be fitting new when she goes for setting up nearly there now.

I bought the kit from Venhill when I ordered my brake lines watched a video on you tube did a couple of practice runs and actually it is fairly easy to do. I love the look of it. I just think it looks right.
