Won't be many updates coming as she is going off for mechanical anti dive to be fabricated shortly. All I need now is to find a pair of Frank Thomas paddock boots, and a Yamaha paddock jacket

SO the rear coolant pipe runs differently looked at getting a one off hose prohibitively expensive managed to find a hose that has a flexible core, then needed to grind away the cases where the expansion chambers sit but had to chop away my newly painted frame as well. The upper coolant hose to radiator also needed to be flexible due to how it runs obviously underneath a frame cross brace. Fitted up the expansion chambers ex Yamaha France early Tz 350 but they interfere with the main stand bracket that I didn’t remove but now will need to. Then got to fit oil feed to inlet rubbers, get the spannies altered because obviously the mounts are not in the right place at the back. Fit the wiring mount the new cdi and controller make a mounting bracket to run electronic speedo and tacho that fit in the standard clock surrounds ala true Brit and mutts nutts. Get it up to Dave for setting up then over to NK for the mechanical anti dive

Hi Veg Looking good mate. I would be interested in seeing the process for fitting those clocks into the Lc cases. I think they look great on Mutt's and Trubrits bikes Dusty

Dusty once I have the tacho I am going to do my best to fabricate the fitting for the standard binnacle I am planning to record it so hopefully others can learn from what no doubt will be my mistakes.

Absolutely I was massively influenced by the 7up bike and met the owner many years ago when he had a katana for sale. My favourite part of performance bikes was always the readers special or the supplements they used to attach. This is my homage to them and what I would have built back in the day.

Problem Knackered silencers that are hard to get hold of, and expensive and as they are on a set of hand made pipes none of the holes line up exactly (ex Yamaha France tz350 pipes bronze welded). Solution Aluminium tube eBay £8 and make my own v happy
