Hi mate Looking good - I love this stage of the build process Regards a painter - Mark Cordwell cant be far from you - he is in Derbyshire, and has a very good rep and is a nice fella too. I saw a used paint set on ebay that he had painted - spoke to him on the phone at length, and I ended up with a new Norbo tank and new panels that he is spraying this week. It sort of escalated but I know it was the right thing to do - even my missus agreed !! I am supplying the front Rgv guard - was gonna give him the carbon one but he said that after time, the carbon weave may bleed through the paint, so I will supply the one off the 385. Just something to consider with the carbon. I' sure if you speak to him he can explain the options. Good luck with it. Dusty

Sounds good Veg. Forum member "Mouse" is gonna do the same. I think the Lc2 will look great with the right mods. I did an F2 based hybrid and found a 3 spoke wheel from a Tzr125 Belgarda bolted into a Ypvs arm easily, and the forks went straight in too with a 5mm spacer under the bottom bearing, so if you are thinking of uprating the running gear, the Belgarda is a cheaper option than Rgv parts. Good luck Dusty

Good luck Dusty The Belgarda wheels are about as versatile as it gets, they slot straight into an LC (with standard swingarm) with a slight mod to spacers. If ever they come up cheap it's worth grabbing a set just to keep for the future in case you ever want to build anything.

Hi Veg The Fzr gear makes for a tried and rested conversion for sure The only thing I didn't like about the Belgarda parts was the single front disc. Don't get me wrong, that single disc and caliper are more than man enough for stopping the bike, but I much prefer the twin discs from a "looks" point of view - just seems more balanced and purposeful imo. Good luck with whatever you decide to use Dusty

Hi veg i thought you were after classic rims. Another rim which is easy to fit is the SZR from Yamaha there is lots of meat on the sprocket carrier for machining purposes. In my opinion the only draw back is the skinny wheel spindle. I think its the same diameter as a 4LO spindle. You can then fit a 150 tyre.

Belgarda wheels in my LC... That rear wheel looks more like a 4FL wheel as the spokes are thinner on 4FL than 4DL (Belgarda). The 4DL wheels are Brembo wheels. I have both. The 4FL are lighter and look more OEM. I have a 4FL rear wheel in my LC :-) Front wheel is a TZR125 3PC wheel.

It's a Brembo wheel for certain, I'm told it was from a Belgarda, but I'm not an expert so didn't really look into it that hard. It definitely has Brembo on the wheel though.

Yeah it certainly looks like wider spokes. I'm not at home so I can't check, but I could have sworn it says Brembo on the wheels.
I thought they were the same wheels as my TZR-3XV and I'm sure they say Brembo on as well??
I also seem to remember they say Yamaha on too, or is my mind playing tricks?

3XV wheels are not Brembo ones... The ones on Dusty's bike look like the 4DL Brembo ones I have.

Just back from limbers some £1000 lighter but v happy the plan now is to get swing arm satin black coated, wheels crack tested and painted, dry build swing arm and forks etc new tyres, strip the motor and get cases vapour cleaned etc etc etc got my rear sets on order with NK. He may have taken 4 months not the 2 weeks he first quoted but the quality is amazing. V happy
