Looks like the rear piston is sticking a bit on my rd400e.
When i release the foot brake after a run,the rear wheel is binding a bit,but if i get a drew drive i can flick the piston down a little and the rear wheel is free.
Any ideas
I have tried squirting Wd40 etc,but it just sticks. But a little flick piston comes down no probs.

Hi Noonster, juSt had a similar problem on my 250f, I ended up stripping down the caliper only o find that whoever stripped it down last time obviously had issue's getting the piston back in as the inside of the caliper had semi circular steps in the side of the casing. This meant that while the piston came out easily enough it would catch and get stuck on the step when retracting, hope this is making sense, I ended up with some very fine wet and dry to rub flat the stepped surfaces, might be a good idea to remove your piston and gently get the wet and dry on the inside. I used the finest I could find. Have you changed the piston seal as I changed mine which also gave similar problems, seal being too tight to let piston move freely. When I took my piston out the brake fluid was a horrible rusty colour and there was sludge in the casing which took some cleaning out which also didn't help the movement of the piston. Hope this helps. Spooch
