Martin at Mad bike designs is looking into this for me (very helpful gentleman) but thought I might as well ask here, Has anyone ever done this conversion?
I have a dry clutch engine cover, a tz water pump, and a mint 400e bottom end, anyone know what else I need? Nova racing seem to think the gearbox parts gears ratio's are the same and that just the output shaft needed changing which I hope is so as this would be a result anyone shed any light on whether this is correct please?

i would talk to dean at metmachex he has done this before a number of times its the same as for a lc or ypvs

Not done one an rd400e , but yeah longer output shaft normally required obviously everything else from primaries outward . r u using genuiune tz clutch cover ???

Yes, or at least I am at the moment, my change to a metmachex one if I decide I can't do without a kickstart. Andy
