Hi all I am going to give the Lomas pipes another go I just miss the noise ;D ;D I took them off because they made the bike slower than standard but I think I was running a bit too rich. I had 200 jets and had raised the needles by 2 notches Norbo,I was chatting to you last week and you mentioned you have Lomas pipes on one of your bikes how have you set your carbs ? The std F2 carbs are needle 2nd from top pilot jet 27.5 main 185 (plus powerjet 56LHS or 50 RHS)
Ive got F2 carbs on a 31K that is standard Will I be OK on STD jetting and setup or do I need to richen it up ? I could live with bit less power as I've got my F2 as well so could use that if I wanted to go for it ;D Pete

The new lomas pipes dont work unless you have a tuned up bike . The best you can hop for is that you geting running right even if its not faster . I would up jet a couple of sizers and see how it go's and drop a size if its to much. I would allso go down 1 size on the front sprocket as new lomas pipes dont allways let the bike rev .
The bike i have them ion is a 350LC and i went down 1 size on the front and did loads of jet changes and it just wont run right with them on . Looks grate sounds grate but wont run faster then 70 MPH crap i kinow but i only use the bike to take my little girl out on . so im not bothered that much . Its a pitty cos its a real nice bike .
I have mailed lomas a few times about the pipes but he never replyed to any mail .and i sent a good 4 or 5 over 6 months .

Hi Thanks Looks like I had the carbs about right and I'm just not going to get any more out of the Lomas pipes I knew they were not that good on a STD motor but was hoping to get them a bit better but if Norbo cant then I certainly wont be able too. About 70 is all I managed as well. Shame they look awesome polished stainless with carbon cans and sound fantastic going through our local villages ;D ;D. I think I will still put them on my second bike an F2 Pete
