speedo and tacho cables came, had to shorten the speedo as it's off an LC as the cagiva wasn't long enough now the bikes got riders and high bars, it wasn't easy trying to square off the end of the inner once cut. Purple heat shrink around them to continue the theme.

looking ace Russ, what did it go like, you pleased with the engine and pipes ? It goes like stink for an old X7, the pipes sound fantastic, like no others I've heard deep and throaty then waaaaaaaaaaa. The throttle response is awesome.

MOT passed today, no advisories, £5 extra on Peter James multi bike policy + £25 admin fee, happy with that. Tank off with deox c in it to sort the woes of sh1t in it. Still waiting for seat.

Rear marmite pot on, not happy with the mount, think it will vibrate off? Going to make a couple of metal mounts out of bolts and drill the bottles and epoxy in rather than just stuck to the sides of both front and back. Still no seat! Message saying tomorrow (tomorrow never bloody comes). Tap from tank leaked and took paint off flywheel case so I'm going to take both side cases off and have powdercoated. Used a rather strong glue on pattern tap where it failed, that's never leaking again.

They think that's the force induction!

reckon where the pins were welded on to pull the dents caused this, only a matter of time before it would have gone again, will get these dressed with braze tonight and try again. On a + note got the gold head back also as I didn't think it was wacky enough I treat it to this not sure where I'm sticking it yet! And another setback mirror fell off! Oh well, they're never finished eh?

Gavin X7 cafe racer next and a nut and bolt X7 to do, a very early S plate. Also fancy doing a Honda 90 special, I've got the X7's but no Honda as of yet.
