Didn't know there were 3 versions of X7, I had a mk1 (3 pinstripes & metal clocks) & my mate had an x reg one different stripes, plastic clocks & indicators with 250 logo on side panels.

That makes sense now, I have seen mk2s on eBay & I thought they had been crashed & rebuilt with wrong parts. Every days a school day.

Stripped another engine tonight, found this Never seen a lightened clutch, wonder if it makes any difference and whether to install it in the mongrel.

sorry it's been a while but had to wait for this one off sprocket to be machined, well tonight I shall be throwing an engine in to see if it all lines up, there's about 5mm on the rear carrier to play with if not but fingers crossed it will be fine.

Nice straight looking run there, who made the sprox? This is going to be pretty radical.

Nice straight looking run there, who made the sprox? This is going to be pretty radical. Sprockets unlimited, 1 off sprocket £38 absolutely chuffed with their help. They supplied chain also and I only gave them centre to centre measurements, this has 116 links, think we'll fit a spring roller near the front to take up the slack when it's static, otherwise well happy.
