After 18 months of work on and off its finally ready for the mot , I just hope the tester is a bit deaf as those TSA pipes aren't the quietest pipes I've ever had

This is the first time that this bike has seen daylight for over 7 years It's had a complete engine rebuild along the way so it'll need running in next, what's people's thoughts on this now ? The last time I ran in an lc was around 1986 , I seem to remember getting bored after about half an hour and just ragging it! To be fair it didn't seem to suffer any ill effects but I think I may show a little more restraint this time...

Thanks Matt, the tyre does look big in the pic but it's a 110 / 90 Avon , perhaps the sv650 Shock lifting the back end a little makes it look bigger in the pick To be honest when it's next to my R1 they look like a kids bicycle tyres

The motor is stock , but stripped and rebuilt with rebore , new pistons and rings , new oil seals , arrow oil pump and a rebuilt crank , it's got banshee coils , carbon reeds in flowed cages on 6mm spacers , pwk 28 carbs and no lid on the air filter and of course the tsa pipes It should go ok once it's run in I hope as this set up is based on muttsnutts advice on here , I'd reckon on mid fifties hp once set up on the dyno

I would lose the spacers.... Get your squish and volume setup correctly and a Zeel or Ignitech ignition. A little porting and 55+ is possible :-)
My LC has porting, squish/volumes done, zeeltronic ignition, YPVS reeds and inlet rubbers, standard 4L0 carbs, modified airbox, TSA pies, Thundercat radiator, and makes 57hp on a Dyna Pro dyno.
My Track LC has standard porting, squish and volumes done, 4L0 reed blocks with fibre reeds, Zeeltronic ignition, 31K carbs, Micron Exhausts, and makes 48hp.
Both bikes were setup on the dyno.
These will give you some ideas as to what power various mods can make.
Good luck with your project and keep up the modifying :-)

Thanks guys ,
Once the motor is run in i'll get it up on the dyno and decide where to go from there , after the battle i had getting the PWK 's into the carb rubbers with the reed spacers fitted i'm reluctant to remove them!
