looking to spend up to about £1000, is this realistic amount for a complete bike numbers matching requiring restoration. I am able to do most work required, I have sprayed new body Shell for a crashed car and rebuilt it, so willing to do paint myself, however not done decals b4. Willing to rebuild engine if required. Would prefer this route, as its rewarding to know you done it yourself, not just bought it like it.

You can get them for around 500 for something needing time spent on it. and spend quight a bit fixing it up. But the parts do seem to get away from you.

looking to stay near standard with Allspeeds, box section arm and improved standard suspension but no rush, standard parts will be OK to be getting me back on a bike. Seem to be in the wrong area, as lots in midlands but few down south,

not too bothered about traveling to get 1 as I have an estate car, think I could get 1 in the back with wheels, forks and tank removed. Have a friend who will ride 1 back if it's got mot on it still.
