maybe the seller is out of stock but wants to keep the listing running until more arrives and then drop the price to normal price..? I don't sell on ebay so i'm not quite sure how it works but i'm sure someone will confirm if this is the case. marti Sounds logical now you say it. Jon

Have some parts that would have to narrow down what bikes they are from, but I know I could. Wouldn’t be looking at selling before I did, bit of googling for instance. Idiots and laziness.

Bought something off eBay a couple of days ago
Its not marked as despatched yet so I'm not saying what it is in case the shop is on here but deffo listed wrong which will hopefully work to my advantage. Wouldn't be the first thing I'd bought as a bargain then all of a sudden the seller says there is a problem and cancels the order 🙄
I did need one so not like I'm just marking it up and moving it on
I'll clarify if it arrives

Some like them, some do not.
While they are less comfortable width wise, they are more comfortable length wise if the makes sense.
I’d rather do a long journey on a Guiliari than standard as you can move about more.

Get a new cover good as. Punting it or keeping it? That's the plan, send to Bob the seat for a new black cover The plan is to keep it as have an LC frame "earmarked" so need to accumulate the rest of the parts to build a hybrid when the time comes Came to realise that if I don't buy the bits now I'll never get them Steve

Yes just re-read. Get a new cover from Bob now, as no telling how quickly items available these days will dry up.
Remember OEM LC centre stands and full lock sets for just over £100? Also YPVS base gaskets tripling in price overnight? YPVS infills, where will that go?
This is all fairly recent. Every part made NLA adds to the cost of building these bikes unfortunately.

Great score Steve. Totally agree with the other comments as well. Jon's 'buy now' has been a bit of a mantra for me recently, I also watched in horror as those parts went NLA. Not that long ago i bought a new LC headlight bowl and cut off the adjuster part to use on my hybrid, not long later they were only avail NOS.

Talking of mis-listings... This was my most recent... Ok, its absolutely not as sexy or valuable a part as Steve's Gully seat, but a part i really need to build my F2 resto project and without it that project is dead in the water... and proof that if you wait long enough and search long and laterally enough you will one day find what you need. Ive been searching on and off for this missing suspension bolt for about 4 (5 maybe?) years now. Its long been NLA and no one seemed to have one. Ok, Truth is that it wasnt really missing as i bought the F2 'mostly whole', its just that I stole and used the F2's original bolt in my LC2 build as I never had any bolts for that bike (as I'm always buying 'bikes' as bloody frames lol). Anyway, Its taken me years to find this now NLA bolt, sigh... I couldnt even find a used one to re-plate locally etc. The one I found is actually the correct LC2 version, but both versions (early and late) are NLA, so I can get back the F2 one for that project For the umpteenth time a few weeks back I had another big global google and ebay search and finally found a ebay mis-listed NOS one. Check out this listing... and wonder at how on earth did i even find it?! lol 'R2350' indeed lol. www.ebay.co.uk/itm/283588864449?hash=item420736a9c1:g:dh8AAOSwkelcSbPIHint: with a bunch of research a while back led me to find that it was also a fj600 part. I am always amazed that people who have a bag with a part number on it dont put that in the ebay listing title. I expect it would have sold much more quickly if it did. Ok this is not in a yam bag and probably from a seller that didnt know what a yam part number looks like and is just selling off a bunch of old parts they found in a box perhaps. They also had obviously never heard of an RZ luckily for me. Anyway, happy days a superb deal on a NOS bolt and just what i needed. Its not a sexy or even an expensive part, but a NLA one all the same... and one I desperately needed. So take heart in that parts can certainly still be found mis-listed. ...'R2350' indeed. lol

Nice one jon 😀
I have a complete bush and sleeve set for the H link and dog legs from poor listing that thankfully had the part number in the pictures but listed as FJ and FZ
The Guilly seat has taken up a bit of my time but now finally ready to send to Bob (been in contact and all arranged)
First issue was the catches. 4 out of the 6 captive bolts sheared and 2 of the plates the captive bolts attach to had rotted out so they just spun so I had to take the cover and foam off
Sounds simple but someone had the great idea of putting some glue on the rear top section of the cover and the foam onto the base 🙄
30 mins with a Stanley blade gently manipulating and gently cutting got the cover off and luckily the glue on the base wasn't too good so came off quite easy
Then made new plates from some 1.8mm steel, drilled and tapped M6 SS bolts through them, ground the heads back then a bit of weld to stop them undoing
Hardest bit of the job was getting the excess glue off from the original cover. Found acetone works quite well 😉
The foam is surprisingly still intact and flexible. Doesn't look too pretty mind after years of getting damp 😂

Good work Steve, I know how much fun rotten bolts can be on the seat, I had the same issue with my Xt500 and lots of off road bikes suffer like that.
Ahh yes, glue on seats... especially the Gully, the devils work!
