Very tasty ! A former boss of mine bought one to go racing . He brought it into work to show off . He said he was going out to lunch , blatted it down the street and straight into the side of a Mondeo ! Did we laugh ? You bet your left bollock we did ! Better luck with yours mate , it's beautiful .

They are a beautiful looking thing and that looks mega clean, the seating position/drop of the bars puts a right crick in your neck, especially looking L&R at junctions ...I cant manage any more than 45mins on my bros SPS but Mikes (kopie30) SP1 is a bit easier on the old bod..Let us know how you find it..

I did manage to get out on it, awful around town, clutch like a old morris marina but once you get going it's lovely, a few mates said it sounded megga, it's so well designed, took the tank off and it's part of the air box. Well ahead for its time

Sounds fecking expensive already, nice bike though I guess it's just getting old now like the rest of us! not to bad, Ducati sprag kit £600 found it online for £100 delivered, sensor ducati £51 ebay Germany £21 to fit the sprag and do the valves and supply and fit new Kevlar belts £500 I should be sorted for a few years then

Well I am £600 lighter new sprag clutch kit, new Kevlar belts, valves set, brake fluid changed, and new oil and filter, what can I say, it has to be the worst thing to ride at low speed, only my old rd500 hybrid was worse, I want to cry when I hit traffic, but when you get going its mega, loads of grunt, handles like its on rails, and sets car alarms off and looks mega, its like owning a supermodel costs you a lot and high maintenance, but great when you squirt it..

As a fellow ducatisti they are expensive to service hate towns and are uncomfortable but they are great fun when the sun shines and the speed is unlimited

Sold my 748 after seven years last october - I refused to take it into congested areas as it killed your wrists. Never had any mechanical issues with it, but changing belts every two years is a bitch.....
