After selling my matching numbers 400F last year, I decided I needed to sort out my other 400 that has been sat around in the corner of my garage for nigh on 3 yrs, anyway, as part of clearing/tidying my garage exercise, I pulled all of my RD250/400 parts together and rebuilt the bike with what I had, it has some allspeeds fitted, I modded some pwk28's to fit with pod filters and made up some ignition coils for it as I didn't have an original one. Fitted an LC2/31K front end to it with some R1 gold spot calipers, an LC 5/8's master cylinder and some wavy disks I had made for another project that I never got round to doing. Had it on the dyno yesterday and it made an impressive 58.6bhp, with some TSA's I reckon it would be quiet a bit more as well, quiet pleased wiuth it given I didn;t spend much time doing it, certainly not to my "anal" standard of everything being spot on, but it is a rider after all !
