tried to get the rubber bungs out of my mark 2 125. drained em . tried braking and popping them out. finally screwed into them and tried to draw them out. no joy... any ideas anyone. dont matter that they are knackered. as replacing when i fill the forks again.

rubber bungs as in top of forks should come str8 out.........its the caps under the bungs which usually rust in..n they are a bitch to get out once u got the circlip thingy out brute force m8 ;D

got the circlip and rubber bung out from the top - just cant seem to get the cap inside out, any ideas as to drawing them out or loosening them without damaging the forks themselves???

no worries..........on a serious note...........i think i used a socket extension bar to froce the caps down to remove the clip then kinda worked the cap up n down then "persauded" them out ;D

;D give em a good soak with some kero or diesel , over night , couple o gentle taps , clean the junk from around the top of them , work em , helps ;D

when i had to get the fork seal out used a screw driver to prise them out then flatted and polish the top of the leg where i prised them out with a screw driver
