They would lock me up & throw away the key if I got a Tuono, but I must admit it would be a weapon of choice, love the look of em & love V Twins :-)
Looks very nice!!

I'm possibly going to look at a black one tomorrow, but seeing you're one has me thinking of a white/silver one I do like the white ones but this black one is in better nick, the white one the tank was starting to swell and bubble, common fault apparently, in between the white and black one i had a red and white one as well fullsizeoutput_552 by simon kirkland, on Flickr

bit of a mix of colour, the 08s had factory produced forged wheels in gold which look better. Had a spin on this today. Untitled by Bryan Haynes, on Flickr

BTT , to Tuono's are a class act as well.

It’s a 2012 R with 6,700 miles and full main dealer service history, PVM forged wheels, Arrow 3 into 1 low boy full system, head light cowl and screen, bellypan and tail tidy, and plate TR12 PLR and was £7,000.

What's the verdict c ompaired to the other 2 bikes?

I can only give a verdict on the 2018 bikes and deals I was offered but I took the MT10 out first(twice in fact..) , the BMW and then the Speed Triple.
I really wanted to like the Speed as I will take any chance to buy British(or British manufactured) nowadays and without doubt the Speed is, in my book, the best looking supernaked of them all but unfortunately, Vs the other two bikes, it has the worse(as in difficult to use/see) dash, fiddly buttons and the gearbox wasnt very good at all on the demo bike I took out, maybe needed some more miles on it, it also feels a little top heavy but ive no doubt anyone would acclimatise to that in short order.
The motor has good low down drive and sounded lovely but didnt have the same immediate pick up (I felt) as the Yam or BMW..The BM also has a noticeable difference in power vs the other two, the (BM) also handles so amazingly well, its lighter and more flickable & is composed at any speed on any road. It blew me away to be honest.
I guess it (the Triple) wasnt quite as loopy to ride but the real kicker to me/anyone owning a brand new Triumph is the pricing and finance deal I would say.
The MT and BMW(especially the BMW) offer lots of electrical goodies as standard, just to add a quick shifter to the base Triumph costs £375 PLUS fitting. The RS is listed at £13,250, I just paid £11,500 for the BMW and is some places its on 0% finance at the moment..more bike for less money really.
I was convinced I was going to have the MT10 initially but today I placed an order for the BMW, the BM for me , was a better bike and the deal I was offered was a no brainer.
Truth is, I would have been happy with any of them Bryan, they are all really nice places to be, the deal made much of the difference, its my (50th) birthday so I thought fook it, im having one...

My budget was £7,000 and the BMs were £9,000 so out of the running, if I was after a new bike it would be a BM or Tuono v4.

Love em.......Love my factory v4 its like riding a pissed off Bull ( still have the 98 and Lc ) I was looking at a couple of Tuonos this morning down in Exmoor. Realy like the look .In your opinion are they much easier to ride fast than a 98 R1.Not getting rid of my R1 but could sell 2 or 3 FZR s . Very tempted.Cheers.
