Im told this is on the 25th May this year.
Dont have much more in the way of details, but search for it on Facebook..
Im planning on coming again, trailering the bike to the end-point, then riding to the start - this time I hope to be early enough to get there on-time!!
lets hope the weather is as good as it was last-year as it was a fantastic day.
hopefully I will also make it to the end this year - I will be checking flywheel bolts and sprocket nuts the night before, and making sure I have a full-tank of fuel so I dont have to stop to refill halfway through the run... I did manage about 100yds more than Parrot however before breaking down ... (and we both got further than Norbo....)
Alex.

It is a good ride, did it 2 yrs back and well worth the effort. Can't get this year as in Germany on that date

so, who's going???
Im planning on taking the bike on the trailer to the end-point, and riding to the start from there, hoping to be there about 8:30am, so I have time to get to the actual start point.
Im checking the flywheel bolt and the sprocket for tightness so I can hopefully make it to the end under my own steam this year...

I spied on him as we caught up with him and the 2 others that were riding with him... till he broke down.......
that aprillia sounds quite nice BTW.......while it was running......
then I ran out of petrol... I'm going to blame the fact I was giving it stick most of the way round, and it appears I can only get from the end, to the start, round the run and to 2 miles from the end again, before I go onto reserve......
and there lies a story...... got there at about 8am, unloaded the bike, started it, left it to idle as I tidied up the trailer and stuff, after about 3 minutes, it went onto one cylinder, then stopped, and just wouldnt restart... checking over the obvious, the fuel-tap didnt "feel" right, so borrowed a screwdriver and took it apart and sure enough, the wee tabs had broken off, leaving the tap off, so back and borrow a bigger screwdriver and turn it to "on", and then re-assemble - forgot about this on the run and so was expecting reserve, which would have easily got me to the end...
Thanks again to the TDR rider (who's on here but doesnt post!) for going and getting me the can of fuel from the back of my van - In Wooler, Id asked him if he was OK for fuel as he'd been concerned he might not get all the way round without buying some - about a mile later he went onto reserve - we shouldve stopped!
still, was a good ride and the weather stayed fine!
