Is there a maximum height you can raise the back end of a 350 lc . I use my one as a track bike with a power valve engine in it. my probblem is the pipes keep decking out on it . even with old lomas pipes i've cut and rewelded the hanging brackets and tucked them in as far as i can but they are still causing me probbs , never mind it's a good job trackdays are done for me this year or there won't be much left of them . i intend to change the point on the swing arm where the shock goes into may be a couple of inches thus raising the bike . anybody had this problem before !!!!!!

Cheers Norbo I have 17 inch alloy rims on my one , which will lower it a bit as well so could i maybe go slightly more when i modify the swingarm . i managed to squeeze a 140 dunlop rideen on the back with about 4mm either side but it grips like sh*t to a blanket , hours of fun till the head gasket goes , never mind all winter to put everything right again

The angle will still be the same just 1inch lower if you have 17 front and 17 back. Do you see what i mean. But the over all clearance will be lower. If you increes the angle at the back to mutch the backend will step out on fast corners. You could put in an ajustable bit at the top of the shoker and try it

OK see what you mean . don't want to mess with it to much as for being án old bike it doesn't handle to bad really , with no steering damper or the like . they are so light they are not to bad to fight with if they start to miss behave . it's just the ground clearance i need to fix or fix as best i can . i am looking at the idea of a simple adjustable deal on the top of the swing arm , i have a spare bent one i can practice on first , incase o any mishaps with the welding.
