I'd go up 2 jet sizes....as a starter point . 260's should do the trick or possibly a size either way. I have loads of jets....all the way upto 300's.........if you need any

You shouldnt really need to upjet with standard airbox and Allspeeds....officially Personally I'd go up one size , and open up the oil pump slightly..........to be on the safe side

Well I started slowly. I fitted my Gibson pipes first. I bought the mid range pipes, and I am a little dissapointed at the build quality, I had to file the flanges flat, (there was a lot of weld splatter), secondly I ordered a race pipe, and they still welded a centre stand plate on the pipes, and finally the silencer cans are pretty shabby, they are made of aluminium, and even after cleaning they don't look new.... Anyway I used them in anger this last weekend, and I do think the bike is crisper, quicker to rev. I had to go up to 250 main jets, after a (too) brief plug chop on the track. The anodes were powder white, although the base of the insulation didn't really have a colour - people I race with are telling me it is MUCH more difficult to adjust the carburation by looking at the plugs because it is the LEAD in the petrol which colours the plugs and now we use unleaded..... Comments? Next change will be the reeds.....and then this winter I will change the barrels and head.

Each bike will differ slightly , I agree with you on the build quality of the Gibsons.......not as good as the old Allspeeds are they ?
Jetting is always gonna be a grey area....different bikes have different tolerances. If your's has white deposits on the plugs - its running too lean . Also even though petrol is unleaded you should still get some kind of beige deposit.
