Hi there, I'm new to the forum & just starting a probably lengthy rebuild of a LC350 that I picked up recently. What I was wanting to know is how easy or difficult it is to fit a TZR250 rear swinger & gubbins into a LC? Seen a few done but is there anyone out there who can give me some info on how much to or what to cut down/weld etc... ? Cheers.

Hi mate and welcome.
You see there all mad on here. Dont get me wrong they know a lot about LC's and after all the messing around some one will allways be able to help you.
You see if you start chatting and get in to it you'll be talking shite on some one elces post in no time [Its the rools].
Back to the post any way . It is not a big job i have an lc that had both front and back end in of a TZR250 2ma the front os just a stem change . There is a little to do at the back end but its not a lot, I have a spair front and back end knocking around as it happends.

;D Cheers guy's, definately not a boring forum to be part of thats for sure. MAD the lot of you!!!! ;D. Pablo thanks for the photo, I'm guessing thats in NK's workshop with the YZR500 in the background? Nice!!!!! KR1S rear wheel by any chance?? Norbo I have a rear swinger with the linkages & axle but would need the rear wheel with a disc & a complete front end if you have all of that??? I noticed that the wheel bearings are the same for the TZR, LC & YPVS. Am I right in thinking that??? I have forks from a YPVS which I could use & would only be needing a front wheel & some yokes to suit the forks if I wentr that route. Tight Scotsman you see trying to save a bit of money. Cheers.

Cheers, It's a 350. 250E bottom end with 350B top end kicking out about 53bhp at the back wheel. The pipes are definately not for sale, sorry. Pro-Flo stopped doing them a whilst back unfortunately. Very light & sound the business.

;D Pablo thanks for the photo, I'm guessing thats in NK's workshop Cheers. It is col...not the exact thing you are proposing, but your frame will need some similar mods...theres a few fellahs on the site doing similar mods at the mo...i think the TZR swinger is too wide for the LC frame so will either need narrowing or as some are doing now,you could chop and widen the frame.Check out some of the threads cos theres a few piccys

;D Your not the first to say that Ali but not much chance of having a go mate... my mum never taught me to share..... sorry.. Here's how it looks on track thought ot help soften your disappointment. Heres a poor photo of the shitty LC I have that I want to put the TZR rear end onto.. maybe should be worrying about more that doing that first.
