Got one of those s/s chainguards from Links, nice bit of metal but wasn't so keen on seeing so much of the chain. And only had to look at the inside of the plaggy guard to guess where the oil was gonna go instead. So, cut a piece out of the plastic guard.. and then... Might be a pretty low tech mod, but I was pleased with the result.

I also found a cure for the common cold, and lasting peace in the middle east. But got so blasted I only remebered the important stuff. ;D

My chainguard arrived from Tom this afternoon, and i was wondering how i was gonna stop the lube from spraying everywhere - thanks for the idea, Bump. Trouble is, the swinger i bought from evilbay has had all the mounts ground off (this wasn't mentioned in the ad) so it looks like its out with the welder again.

Hey, I'm not after the Queens award for industry but that's gotta be worth a karma from someone asn't it ? But seriously, I'm usually so ham fisted, so I was happy as a dog with two d**ks when I came up with this idea. ;D ;D ;D

chainguard looks ace!! but who welded your can??? 'orrible snotty weld isn't it. It was like that when I got it, but I'm gonna do something else with the exhausts when I get round to it. It won't be microns.... Probably some F2 pipes.
