Hi mate . Wwelcome to the mad house . Have a look in the rebuild section . Like Paps said hooligan is doing just this mod so will be of grate help to you . He has just started aswell so if you offer him some dosh he may make 2 of anything he has to make to make the ends fit if you see what i mean . If he has the time that is you will have to ask but it woud save time and stress if he can .

Hi Tonkatoy
I'm doing a similar conversion at the moment if you look in the rebuild part of the forum you will see my posts. bellow are some of the things you will need to do
1, the VFR front end is easy to fit you just need a spacer and a bush making for the vfr stem to allow you to run RDLC bottom taper bearings at both ends.
2, speedo drive, the cable needs a bit of modification so you can connect it to the LC clocks
3, Rear end the NC24 swinger is 30 mm wider than a LC frame and 22mm wider than a valve. You need two bushes making up and a long centre bush to fit between the lugs of the NC24 swing arm
4, Frame there are several things you need to do first you need to make new swingarm mounts and move them outwards on the frame you may also need to remove some tubing on the inside of the mounts to allow the swinger to move.
5, Rear Shock. the NC24 rear shock is offset so you need to cut off the shock mount and reweld it in the correct place.
6, Front sprocket. You need a 8mm offset front sprocket to line the chain up with the back wheel. or you can mill the rear sprocket carrier to get the same effect.
All in all its possible but unless you have access to a lathe milling machine tig welder or live near me its going to be very expensive.

also forgot to mention that you may need to make rearsets and weld brakets on the frame for the remote shock adjuster and the rear master cylinder. but how said building a special was easy If I wanted easy I would get an RGV front and rear but who wants a bike that looks like every second LC at Ashbourne
