Very tidy mate............a real credit to ya You'll get mixed opinions about Allspeeds and Microns......I have found that although Allspeeds may be better made slightly and relatively easy to jet for..............Nothing beats the sound and power delivery of a Micron pipe - but that said they can be a bitch to get the jetting right.

Yeah thanks mate, when i was running my allspeed, i have been using a 220 main jett, i have'nt changed that yet since putting on the micron. When i get to properly run it down the road, i shall do some plug chops to make sure i run correct jett.

Looks great, bit weird with the round headlight, guess in use to seeing the rectangle one. not sure about the wing mirrors. Divided myself as to which i will go for. The old style round ones or yours. What's the view in them like? Do you get the usual see only my shoulders not past them?

Thanks , the mirrors are fine, i dont find that my shoulders obscure my view in them (it used to on my old moped) The mirrors that are on it now are the standard ones for the bike i believe. I know the circle ones you mentioned, i think they were used on the old aircooled rd125. When i brought it, it had the rectangular headlight, but i didn't like the look of it and also the bracket. So i brought a new circular headlamp like the bigger LC's and some new headlamp brackets of Norbo, and i think it tidys it up alot.

The Micron isn't new but i recently brought it of ebay for £102, spent days polishing it religiously with the autosol, repacked the end can and replaced all fixings with stainless steel. I think your correct in saying they have stopped making them but i know they still make new allspeeds and Nikons. The performance, non- stock items i have fitted are as follows:
1.V-Force reed block (fitting soon) 2.2 reed spacers 3.Lightened flywheel 4.Ledar nozzle 5.Upjetted to 220 for exhaust 6.K&N type air filter 7.Gear it up to: Front sprocket 15 Rear sprocket 45 8. Moderatley ported barrell (fitting soon)

Bloody nice job mate . I like the standard mirrors and would keep them . I like the round light as well not standard but they do put out more light then the standard ones. the springs are tight to fit as they are new but it will fit and stretsh the extra 10mm .

I like the round headlamp too......makes it look more like an LC......I could never understand why they ever fitted it with a rectangular one

Yeah, thanks norbo, couple of days ago had rear tyre done again and put it back in, fitted new torque arm bolt and nut and kick start rubber. All i need now to get the job done is a complete set of new indicators (Genuine) Started her up the other day and like you said those microns do sound crisp!

i put a new side stand spring on mine too,the easiest way to fit it was to have the stand in a certain position and use a spring puller,i can assure they do fit and ment to be a tight fit as norbo said.

Thanks mate, on the UK bikes they restricted the 125 cc down to 12 bhp so did not include the powervalve servo motor and ECU kit to get the powervalve working. So i believe most people back in the day just fully opened the powervalve manually to get the full bhp. I brought a kit to get the powervalve working and it did, however it leaked badly from the pulley side. I also found that where you mount the motor on the bracket, you are unable to have a tacho cable as you need to bend it round the motor, and mine ended up snapping. I want to try the kit again in the future, norbo mentioned having a groove machined into the pulley side of the power valve and fitting a O ring to prevent the leak. But i would advise one of these bikes to any 17 year old as i had 2 125cc 4 strokes before this, and was amazed by how much fun i have had owning this bike. I find they just have a lot of character compared to the new 125cc's on the market, plus they are very rare and collectable (especially the MK3!) (Biased- not really! :-) )

Yeah, i believe so mate, i see the odd one on ebay, never seen one on road. There again i haven't seen many lc's all together! In my opinion that's what makes them so unique. When you have got the time norbo it would be awesome to see yours done up.
