Quite apart from the price being on the high side of steep ... it's advertised on U.K. eBay so a UK buyer would maybe want to change the speedomto MPH.
The icing on the cake for me is that the rev counter is off a different bike!
That means you'd have paid over £320 for a manly old frame, idiot lights and temp gauge with glass marked/cracked?

Lol if you think the Rd world has gone mad see what soem of the FS1E bits are going for lol.
There's a guy on ebay that sells as NOS but they are just new bits still available from Yamaha. (In fact he buys them from the same dealer I do lol)
He buys them, lists them and then doubles the price

Folk must be buying them though.

That's just sheer madness.
I've had a few bits re-chromed recently, and while not cheap the finish was very nice.
Surely your old mudguard, or a good used rusty one to re-chrome would be a fraction of this price and possibly better?

SGUM TREE is even worse! buy with extreme caution is adviseable as loads of scammers on that site... Stick to forums like this one and normally you will find the parts required at a non out of this world price

There will always be rich people who don't know the true value of things on ebay. One example a few weeks ago I saw A Lawson green tank for Z1100R GO FOR £1800. More than I paid for my Z1000 J ! and nearly as much as I paid for my mint Z1100R.

Good point. I also dismiss any bike that appears wet in an advert when the driveway is dry. Makes the bike look a whole lot "better". But to me it just looks like a shyster chancing their luck. One of the first things my Dad taught me about vchicles, never buy one wet or in the dark My grandfather said something along those lines about women.
