I had green credentials even in the late seventies. I realised that methane was a green house gas and the best way to deal with it was to burn it... preferably in the dark for that mass of engulfing blue flame effect.... Cant see these so called green eco warriors doing the same whilst demonstrating outside BP's offices...lightweights.

It does look nice but I think 7k is tops for a concourse as it left the factory build
No mention of matching numbers and don't even know if it's an n1 as frame delugged
If that was mine I'd be asking 5k ish

I cant see that making the asking price, its neither true to the original restoration or the mods that in-depth/interesting or keeping with the bike, not to say I dont like the mods or look of it and im sure it rides great, its just priced far to high to attract either type of buyer IMO

It's them Yanks and dodgy post charges
Really hacks me off
I've found a pair of mirrors I want from a US seller
Listed individually at £9 each with £22 post
Now mirrors weigh feck all and a box with 2 mirrors ain't any bigger than 1 so I asked if they would combine the shipping charge
The answer was " we always combine shipping. You pay the full shipping charge for 1 and 50% for the other"
Right so I have to pay you £33 for what will still cost you £22
That's £11 they are ripping off and if it catches customs I'll pay even more on a trumped up shipping charge
But f*ck I want them 🤬

I don’t get these prices at all.
The ONLY reason these bikes have been selling for good money is the market.
The ONLY people interested in these bikes are probably around 50 years old and re-living their youth.
Most of us bought one a few years back when prices were reasonable.
Anyone that wasn’t interested then, is probably not going to be interested now.

You could explain that Dukinfield place as a car dealer for getting the pricing wrong but they have a 2013 Boxster S that's at least £10k over priced !!! They only need 1 sale a month at those prices.....
But if you are happy to pay that price, there will always be someone to take your money off you. If you think it's too expensive, then keep your cash in your wallet. No one is forcing you to buy !!!! And that's where the market forces the price of rare parts up. Always has, always will, and that is more annoying as you are then forced to pay the "going" rate. To me the rare part sellers are the real eBay chancers.
