Oops. Obviously missed that one. Cheers OEB Disapointing that DK are still trying to punt this on Those lot pxxs me off. All sorts of tricks, could swear they bid stuff up but you can only do that if someone joins in. I had my eye on a few things, ‘low start no reserve’ ‘advertiserded elsewhere reserve the right’ etc etc, but as auction approaches the 24 hour cut off then all of a sudden ‘item no longer available’ yep correct, cause they will relist it a few days later. If they really have a reserve in mind then why not just use that or put BIN with best offer. Quality of stuff coming in has also deteriorated noticeably, I think that now the swamps have truly been drained it getting very hard to find anything so they list stuff that increasingly should carry a buyer beware notice ! Fortunately I have most of the stuff I want so just sit and shake my head ...but if they put up a nice R1Z and really let the market set the auction price I might be tempted.

No reserve cracks me up. I see this all time...if it has NO reserve why is the opening bid £4000? Surely that IS the reserve price?

Can anyone confirm this please? Jon I've been looking around and can't find a definitive answer The rz250 parts list I have only gives std as an option so that's no help Given that the part number for rings is 29l 11610 then 00, 10, 20, 30 or 40 for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and fourth Fowlwers list the part numbers for 00 10 and 20 as std, 0.25 and 0.5 but the others as discontinued which would suggest they existed once In saying that the piston part numbers show for the first 2 oversized but "no result" for 3rd and fourth That's no surprise as that's the way it is for a lot of non UK parts Can't find any others on eBay either Steve

I seem remember only up to 0.5mm was available OEM from somewhere? I’ve also not seen a picture of a piston or set of rings over 0.5mm in a Yamaha box on eBay over the years. Could be doing the eBay poster a disservice if they are available. No packaging just seems suspicious to me at that price. Jon

Jon The price may just be down to small market The only thing I see different from the norm is the pistons are marked 10 Aren't pattern pistons usually marked 1.00? I've never seen a genuine piston on 1mm over as the 350 only had 2 genuine oversized The 250 liner looks so much thicket Steve

IF they were genuine I’d expect them to be expensive. IF they are proven genuine I’ll remove all reference to thrm them in this thread.
IF they are (for example) Taiwanese with the boxes thrown away because they look genuine, the they are chancers (if they know?).
I had a set a while back off a forum member on 0.75mm with no boxes. Had all the markings of a genuine one in the casting, but I think they are copies.

I might just write "YPVS 350" on a piece of paper and put it up with a start price of 1K.
