Great lookin bike, I always think its a bit of a gamble putting a different seat unit on a bike but that one just makes the bike, great lines and the paintwork sets it off a treat.
Enjoy

Hi , just joined this forum and noticed your superb hybrid build . I'm also building at the moment and using the fireblade rear shock , did you have to modify/change the spring to achieve static and rider sag ?

I'm also building at the moment and using the fireblade rear shock , did you have to modify/change the spring to achieve static and rider sag ? Hello fella and welcome to the forum no didn't need to alter the shock but had it set to the softest setting as the spring is much harder than stock..the frame top mount needs changing as the shock is I believe is 300/310mm good luck with the build post some pics if you can. If you have any other questions I'll do my best to answer them :-) Topman:-)

Thanks for that mate , I'll try the preload first and hope for the best . By the way , did you keep the original rake and trail of the RD and did you manage to keep the yzfr125 subframe at correct angle from donor bike ?

Hi mate soz for the delay yes I did keep the rake of the RD from memory the length was a little longer as for the subframe angle I set this to line of the tank and side panels to look factory as possible and only then had the rear shock to deal with the Blade one for me was the best fit hope it's going well mate :-)
