Thanks guys for all the great comments, cant wait to give it a good thrashing, but will have to wait for a few hundred more miles until i feel confident that all is well with the engine .

That is one very fine motorcycle - it does truly look like a factory bike. Well done sir, it's a credit to you (if only we could get Yamaha to put such a creation into production!!!).

A real credit to you Mate, loads of work gone into that and will confuse a few people when they smell that R6 going by. Well done and enjoy it.

FZR400 is heavy, Stankflappers put one into a 250 3LN1 frame, worked really well. Perhaps the 400 with a big bore stroker?

Nice job, dunno if it's just me but looks like it needs rear jacking up/front dropping a bit

That is a classy Hybrid you have built there. I bet you will get the question "Are Yamaha building these now ?" its that good.
How does it ride ?

Rear up seems to be the modified trend at the moment, methinks stance is how it came out of the factory though.,

Just looks like the weight distribution will be too rear biased. My R1 was like that when I got it after the prev owner f**ked about with the shock not knowing what he was doing and it under steered like a dog

Thanks mate ,seems to ride really well only done 500 miles as running motor in so not been able to ride it too hard yet .the front end is a bit soft under heavy breaking but all in all very pleased .
