Hi all, Working away from home till next week which means i have far too much time on my hands which in turn means i spend a lot of time looking on fleabay at things i don't really need, however it looks like being a decent year finance wise and so am pondering the possibility of buying another bike, got a Blackbird at the moment which I've had for 8 years+ and has never missed a beat apart from a minor charging issue it has at the moment, but that'll get sorted. So then more or less narrowed the new bike down to these as they are a little more of an upright riding position, so any pro's or con's on the following bikes would be appreciated, Aprilia Tuono, Triumph Speed Triple or Yamaha Fazer 1000, and why not throw a KTM in there as we don't have a single, no urgency, just checking them out, budget would be about £4/5000.
Cheers
Paul

I have an '09 plate Tuono R and it's a right hoot. Wheelies so easily off the throttle in the lower gears and is one of (if not the most) fun bikes I have ever owned. Sounds fantastic with Akrapovic cans and no baffles. Handles great and just goes round bends without even thinking about it and sitting upright with wide bars you can really throw it around. Loads of engine braking from the big twin too. Only downside I can think of is the fuel consumption and tank range isn't the best - it will only do about 90/95 miles from full to the light coming on. I think reserve holds about 30 miles but I have never pushed it to find out. Fazer thou is a good bike but a bit softer all round. This is my Tuono:

Hi Rich, nice bike, must admit that a Tuono is at the top of the list and have seen quite a few with the Akrapovic end cans for sale within my price range, tank size is not really an issue as if i'm on a long run i'll take the Blackbird and the LC for the Sunday runs out, if i ever get it finished that is !!
