Just had a great weekend with the FS1e group as they were camping only a few miles away. What a great bunch they are and of course, all into 2 strokes (although there were a few Honda 4 strokes) so I took my LC. Every where we went, it was like being chased by a swarm of angry wasps and the obligatory hazy blue cloud of 2 stroke smoke! Of course there were very few actual 50cc FS1Es as there were quite a few YB100 conversions! (and yes I do realise there is a RD200 there too)

It was way better than good, you won't have a better laugh over a weekend Can you not travel ?, it's well worth it. Some people there came from Holland, some from Brussels and even Scotland !. There is a run at Squires at the beginning of July sometime, that can't be that far away from you ?.

Run from squires is in September I think you're talking about the 2-stroke gathering at Squires in September ?. The Northern FS1-E run is at Squires 4th - 6th July

Love the vid, why does the MB50 rider come back and nearly get creamed at the end? bloody Honda riders... haha. For many many years I had a restored MB, it was a superb little machine in my MT/MB collection. Sadly I dont really 'get' the FS1E, its an age thing I guess. The GP/SS/FS1E etc were a few years earlier than me, I was a DT/MT/TS guy I guess, tho I did have an TS50ER, old technology but we loved em.

Sadly I dont really 'get' the FS1E, its an age thing I guess. That's what a mate said who's got a GSXR1000 and had never had a ped in his life. We lent him a ped to come and enjoy a Fizzy weekend with us a couple of years ago and he went stright out and bought one the week after the event and now comes on all the FS1-E runs he can. Any Peds are welcome on the runs, doesn't have to be a Fizzy There's just something about the bikes/community/riding & the people that you won't better. I've got bigger 2-strokes that are obviously better fun for normal riding but a weekend piss-up and riding a FS1-E in a pack of another 60 or so is a lot more fun

Too true Looey- the rideouts were great fun and keeping off the main routes make a welcome change. I had fun on my LC but I am definitely on the lookout for a smaller bike so I can do more FS1-E runs - perhaps a YB or RSX 100 if I can find one at a reasonable price.

Yeah was on about two stroke meet in September I'm hoping to make both this year. Last year the Squires 2-Stroke gathering clashed with the Eagle Fizzy Run

But that's not quite what I said... Its not like I dont get peds, just not the FS1E. And yes, I had a ped for many many years, it was MB5s and MT5/100s, builds are on my website if you wanted to see em.

Ive been misquoted... Tho I dont disagree with the sentiment. EDITED: Seems there is an issue with quotes on this forum... I hit quote and now it says I didnt say it but Looey did... If someone else quotes this, I will be saying it again I suspect?

And they know how to party I counted 68 bikes on the video of everyone leaving the campsite on Sunday. And there were quite a few more that joined at the Bolney Garage meeting point. That's a good turnout for a single bike type run, though obviously there were a few other types of bikes that attended
