Some more info please I would like to make a complete matching numbers motor from a ever learning LC/YPVS fan. vin i think a matching numbers motor refers to the engine number matchin the frame number which matches the numbers on the log-book...its what the purist fellas want...this what you mean vin?... ???on a 350 LC for example, they would all need to start with 4LO...as opposed to 4L1 for the 250...31k for the early valves n so on...

pabs is right............. matching numbers is where the frame and engine number are the same and there are sum goons who take it to the extreme that if they dont match it aint real its a shmae after all my work that to them it aint a real F2

i dunno what the 1wt cases are mate...i do know however that the LC and valve cranks, although similar, are different...loads of info on the home page...one of the specials is an LC with a valve crank fitted...nice colour, black i think ...needs the LC cases machining i think...valve crank is a bit more beefy
