are you talking UK models, or for any country ?
for the UK, the F was the last model, released in 1979/1980, so a "V Reg" or "W Reg" I suppose as the reg marks use to change on 1st August if I remember correctly
You could and will find ones later than that as some stayed in the shops for a year or 2 as the good old LC came out and everybody went for that instead

Hi For the Uk, the last model was the "F", the "G" was for other markets I believe. W reg would be right. The F differed from the E with red wheels and dog leg levers. The Lc was on the horizon, so they wanted to shift the stock !

The E and F models numbers atarted as below; E/F Model - 1A3 - 330101 to 350000 The number you have put up is for a non UK bike, but think its a E model equivalent, so should be electronic ignition and not points. as far as I am aware the G model was a US/Canadian model, but that frame number suggests otherwise, but I am not up on the non uk models so I am sure somebody on here will know more than me in respect of where the bike originated from (other than Japan of course !! ) HTH

Anyone know the difference between the f and G models frame number starts like this 1A3 0031292?? There seems to be too many numbers is the frame number. After the 1A3 there should be 6 digits If it is a US bike it would be 1A1 unless it is a Daytona Special. In which case it would be 2V0 If it was a Canadian G it would be 3J7 or an Aussie G would be 3M4. 1a3 means it must be a Euro model. Hope that helps

Sorry wrong number should have been 1A30331292 ?? cheers Are you taking this off the V5? I think the first zero after the 1A3 should actually be a - if you have a look on the headstock. That would make it a European "F" which were numbered 1A3-330101 onwards. There wasn't a "G" in Europe as Dave said, because we got the LC in 1980.
