Spreading the word courtesy of the LC Club:
June 20/21/22 2014 usual place then.
Lake District Camping Weekend
Friday 20th, Saturday 21st, and Sunday 22nd June 2014
Sykeside Camping Park, Brotherswater, Patterdale, Penrith, Cumbria. CA11 ONZ
The campsite has it's own bar which serves food, toilet/shower block and also electric hook ups and hard standing for vans.
There is also a hotel at the top of the drive with an excellent restaurant.
A Bunkhouse is also available which accomodates 32 people (but you’ve got to book early for this) .
If you want to go book your pitch on 017684 82239 as the site does get full on weekends.
Directions:
From the North
At junction 40 on the M6 take the A66 westwards towards Keswick. After a quarter of a mile turn to the A592 to Ullswater, following the road in the direction of Windermere and Kirkstone Pass. Sykeside is approximately two miles beyond Patterdale on the right hand side of the road.
From the South
At junction 36 on the M6 take the A591, by-passing Kendal and heading for Windermere. At Windermere take the A592 for Kirkstone Pass and Ullswater. After passing over the Kirkstone Pass carry on down. Turn left into the Brotherswater Inn where the entrance to Sykeside Camping Park is clearly marked.
info on campsite:

Arriving on the Friday afternoon and leaving Sunday afternoon. We'll be in the bottom right hand corner as usual.
We get a lot of people asking if they can come on non LCs but even if you're not on an LC it doesn't matter, this weekend is open to anyone who wants to come along no matter what they ride.
