Always liked these and a mate had a nice one back in the day. For me it was either that of a Gsxr11, and the Gsxr won. Would still like one though.

Really nice FZ Mate, I love the 5 valve FZ 750S and FZR1000 Genesis.

Had a 1985 bike about 17 years ago, bought from a lad I worked with at the time, was my 2nd period of biking (now about to embark on my 3rd) Was a nice bike, think only first year had adjustable suspension? Mine must have seen track action as had Marvic wheels, Lockheed calipers, floating big discs and lock wired sump plug. Only the slightly noisy primary chain spoiled it (was quiet just past idle) p/x it for a 2 year old firestorm, loved that but after selling up after son born and not getting to use the bike thought if had kept it wouldn't have minded just keeping in garage for future as only stood me at £1500, whereas the firestorm was £5k.

Hi
Looks good.
I have an early 1FN FZ as well, bought in 1990 and still got it. However I do need to sort it out. I managed to find an Ohlins rear shock and had it rebuilt, fitted it to the bike and then drove myself mad trying to get the preload about right (couldn't adjust with the shock on the bike) so moved it to the back and forgotten about it for a few years.
All the best
Keith
