Hi Yogi, I had a polished stainless tuning fork disc on my old hybrid; Maybe not everyones cup of tea but I liked it. Norbo sells something a bit like it I think. Dusty Hi Dusty I'm torn between the fork that Norbo does and the tax disc holder, but I don't like the Nk racing tax holder, the fork does suit your bike though,,I must admit.. Cheers Matt

Do you have polishing mops that go on that bench grinder to polish the ali? Hi mate I bought a kit off eBay,you just take the grinding wheel off and bolt a mandrel on the shaft, Then you can swap them easily, just put metal polishing kit in the search on eBay Cheers Matt That's great Matt- I have a bench grinder but didn't realise you could get the mandrels for polishing mops.

I bought all these scotch brite mops off eBay for less than £70 quid, there was 110 when I got them,I just blast the paint off, then scotch brite, then the polishing kit,you get good results quickly,be careful with the mandrels they are left and right in the kits, I will show the parts I use tomorrow Cheers Matt BBCode (message boards & forums)

I'd be interested in a polishing thread. I wondered about the ultrasonic cleaners on ebay, are they any good, if so which ones? Cheers

Cheers Matt[/quote] Don't bother buying an expensive tax disc holder they are doing away with them soon apparently you have to pay your road tax online but you don't get a disc to display any more. Cheers Nik I forgot they were doing away with them Norbos it is then

Great start and looking real nice so far, your dedicated time spent is well worth the effort !
good way to go tho......dont get held up on the trivial things .....like what cover disc to use.....all that can be obtained at any stage !
keep up the good work Yogi

Ill have to take one of my grinding wheels off my bench grinder and see what size the threads are. I've had a look on ebay and most adaptors seem to be 1/2"
