And all the blurred but happy faces at the side are watching from a few inches away for free !! and if that wasn't enough you ride thae same road straight after it finishes...

Tis a magical place, I loved it for many years(except when it pissed down on me constantly..) and a "must do" but for actually riding a bike as intended , without fear of cameras, mile upon mile of frustrating speed limits and thousands of other people trying to ride the same bit of road, at the same time, the same way around, there are far better places to take a bike.

Don't know if you just visited TT etc but it is far better outside of the events a lot less traffic, the temporary speed restrictions are lifted and in the evening you can get a beer without queing !

Unfortunately not,Spain pyrenees flat bit of france yes but my missus has been learning for a couple of years followed by pass then bought her GS650 with that sort of intention, think with the mileage to date she could do with a little more experience prior to, thing is we have a business which historically hasn't been kind to biking time,
We have sort of planned (mentally) putting the bikes in the ex TT camper to do the motorway bit and reduce the costs of hotels etc, we wanted to head to Kempton near Munich then of to the mountains and lakes etc.
Other thing is (but keep this to your self) it costs a fortune to get of the Isle prior to the typical to a port mileage (bar hull) and to what now becomes the second ferry, so two days of sorts travelling of the hol just to get to where you start from and back...

Or with us.....Maybe I will be in touch for places to go when/if we manage a trip. Not being tight but having a few nice people to stay with one night basis saves a fortune but more importantly you get a great night with like minded idiots......... don't hesitate if you want to come here.

PS Life is so cruel. LC first time round on the drip, scrounging fuel money etc, now comfortable with money (to a degree and lets face it this site is centrered around toys) now with my own business and staff I have no time at all hardly, I have plans afoot but need a degree of luck or the Manx fairies on my side.
