I have rebuilt my 250 Lc forks with new fork seals and new fork oil. I filled the forks with 5 foz of oil. When I compress the forks oil is leaking passed the new fork seals ! Has any one got any advice ?

If you fitted them your self, and dont be ofended by this, but did you put them in the right way around and did you put all the bits back in the right around. If you did have you put a small back crese in the rubber when fiting the stenshon back in . Is the stenshon pitted or does it have a dent on the travel and finaly is the leg straight . Hope this gives you some thing to think about . O yes and one more thing does it happen on 1 leg or both? .

Thanks for info . They are leaking on both legs and the forks are straight with no pits. Is 5 foz the correct amount of oil? I will strip and check the the forks. Thanks

That is the right amount oil in the legs. Do you have a haynes manuel .
