Always one of my favorite hybrids Rich, looks just right. The KR1s inlet rubbers seem to add a bit of midrange compared with a straight tube, no idea why but i guess they have a slight internal taper which helps.
Top Job mate, glad you didn't change it too much :-)

Wasn't the mag photographer late or something? Just as well it was nice weather as I remember lining all the bikes up waiting for him! The bike was putting out about 65bhp then but during the rebuild I fitted a standard set of barrels. It still has the PWKs and Vforce reeds, plus a Dyna coil and the same pipes so it should still go ok Few more pics:

Nice TZ throttle Rich, did you make your own cables? After using one on the TZR I wouldn't go back to the blancmange on a piano wire feeling of the stock cable.

Cheers mate, the throttle is a Domino one. I bought it off Vince at Fondseca as he was cheapest and it came with adjusters and grips. I did make the cables though as TZ ones are about £15 each and would have still needed modding to fit the PWKs. I bought some cycle cable outers off ebay (you can get them in loads of colours for 99p) and also some cable inners. Cut them to length, made up new nipples and soldered them on. I had to use the PWK outer ends as they have a retaining ridge that fits in the top of the carbs but all you have to do is heat them up and push them onto the end of the cable. Total cost under a tenner! The action is lovely and snappy and is about 1/8 turn to fully open

What switch gear do you have right and left Richey I bought them as a pair off Ebay and they are supposed to be 3XV. I think the left one is, everything bar the kill switch is on it. However, the kill switch side had a start button which I had to remove and blank off and the off and run were reversed so I had to make new labels. All works well though and as I am running an LC loom meant I could do away with loads of wiring and connectors under the tank. It also freed up a fuse to run the YPVS off

Looks mint, makes the wheels and tyres on mine look sooo skinny, might start thinking bigger wheels, etc.

Looks great , should stop well as it will go .Got some big anchors and rear disc. I was on the look out for a good used oil tank for my bike, still at least you put it to a good use.
Good job.
