I've had this bike for over 2 years now with absolutely no issues ever, but last ride out it just died on me,It then wouldn't start on the button, like flat battery. I bumped it off no trouble and it rode fine all the way home, battery was flat next day so I bumped it and rode for over 20 miles without a problem then it just cut out again, wouldn't bump for ages, just stuttering like no fuel then fired up but it went for 2 minutes and died again. Got it back to the garage, but not had time to investigate yet,any ideas? While it's running it is perfect, got to be electrical but what?

Sounds like the standard Honda rect/regulator issues. 100's of replacements on ebay

I had a mate call on me with the same problem on his fireblade - turned out to be the alternator windings on his but the reg/rectifier and alternator are well known problems. Plenty of info on the web on how to diagnose it.
