Nice, that just about covers all bases well done That's what I reckon. And I tell you what, the XBR500 is a blast, love it. She's narrow and nimble, like an LC but not as wild.

Nice to see a ZX10. Underrated and not very common. I have a 1988 and for me it is the first modern superbike with water cooling floating discs mono shock and a modern open aluframe. In Sweden it had 100kW and top speed is 265km/h. It is extremely stable and comfortable for fast touring. Apart from not having fuel injection it is a bike which still feels relevant.
Instead of a ZX10R I have complemented my stable with a GSXR K5 for the quick tours.

I started low and worked up. I have a honda lead 110 nhx in monster energy dream machine paint that I use for fun and shops occasionally, make a great pit bike, a recently bought rd350r for my youth as I used to own a 350 back in the day and it's just brilliant. It was the one with headlamp fairing n1??? Dunno. I also own a 2010 fireblade in ten Kate castrol colours. Awesome bike. I just have an urge to start collecting now. I fancy an fs1e cos my partners bro used to have one. Or an enduros for green landing on, dr350 or something . One day . Thanks for your remarks re my bikes. I've just been given a rather tatty 1978? XS400, I don't think they are worth restoring. I'm thinking a winter/long term project to Café Racer it. It's been stood in a shed for about 7 years, a friend of mine sold it to the owner as a good runner, popped it in the shed and never used it. It's got damp so a lot of rust, though tank seems good, chrome shot, engine seized. Stripped the bike down and the frame is good, a little rust but no holes or damage. Engine is on the bench, one plug sheared trying to remove!
Anyone want to comment, thoughts etc.

That's a very clean look and something along those line may appear. Shorter and if possible more upswept pipes I think.

Engine not seized. xs400 has been stripped, rusty bits binned and engine on the bench. The engine appeared to be seized when I got her, kick-start would not budge. I removed one plug and the other fell to bits leaving the threads behind so I had to strip, Cam cover off easy. next thing to remove the head, cam needs to rotate so to remove cam drive bolts, hmm seized engine so how? Well as it happens I got to loosen one bolt and the engine just turns over easy! So not seized and no compression as plugs out. So, is it possible that the kicker is broke or just rusted in place? We shall see.
Next question for advice is, how to remove the knackered spark plug? This fell to bits leaving the threaded part behind with a hole straight through to the barrel. Cheers

probably cheaper/simpler to get a new head for it.

Is it possible to drill the center out and cut a thread in it. Then run a bolt with a lock nut on it into the thread and tighten Then undo. Depends how much is left behind of course
